Cal received his bachelor degree from the University of Idaho in Zoology. He graduated in 1994. He has an ASCI credential for all principal levels. Cal taught math and history classes in grades 7-9 at NICS from 2006-2010, then becoming the administrator in 2010 -2020. He is currently teaching his passion in science, Bible and math. He likes long walks on the beach with his wife and prefers crunchy Cheetos to puffy Cheetos.
